If you have an emergency, dial 911

WHAT WE DO
Powell County Disaster Relief is focused on assisting emergency efforts of all sizes by providing support to Powell County and surrounding communities with disaster related needs. Through coordination with Governmental and private organizations, we receive, store, and distribute monetary and physical donations to those in need of aid.
We try to help Powell Countians recover after a disaster by coordinating volunteers with the people that need help. We do this by matching the specialties of our volunteers with the needs of those requesting assistance.
Volunteers are called upon to aid in disaster relief. This may include serving meals, repair work, clean-up, or any other activity that can help out our neighbors in their time of need.
If you need help, we're here. Let us know who you are, where you are, how to get in touch with you, and what you need. We will try our best to coordinate the help you need as quickly as possible.
While we don't accept money directly at this time, we
are accepting supplies that our volunteers can use to help clean and repair affected areas. We have a list of supplies that we currently need and a list of drop-off locations on our Donate page.

REQUEST APPLIANCE & BUILDING MATERIALS
March 31st, 2021
To best allocate our limited number of supplies, we have a new form that you can fill out to request building materials, appliances, home goods, etc. We will try and fulfill all the orders as best we can, but again, we have a limited number of supplies. As new donations come in, we will use these request forms to target distribution of supplies as quickly as possible.

If you would like to donate, but are unable to donate building supplies, Powell County Kiwanis Club is still accepting donations for disaster relief in Powell County.
